TigerPress is now able to produce accurate digital contract proofs for projects that will be produced on uncoated stock. Printing on recycled uncoated paper is becoming more popular as companies strive to become more eco-friendly. Using our new uncoated contract proof, we can now accurately predict color on these new "green" stocks.

Our uncoated digital proofs use a new paper that has the look and feel of uncoated stock, but still allows our Epson 9800 proofer a large enough color gamut to match our offset printing process. This new paper also has a whiteness CIE% of 155 which is a very good match to popular uncoated stocks such as International Paper's Accent Opaque. The uncoated digital proofs still use our iterative color matching process from CGS ORIS to provide the best possible overall gamut match and allow frequent calibration to assure consistent quality.
